Sandwich Islands, LLC has a new research and development group called SIDG. All systems in SIDG will run the Linux operating system and will access/share resources across SIDGâ€s ~500 client operating system desktops/laptops currently running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. There is a mix of desktop and laptop systems.

Your Supervisor has tasked you with a proposal to replace all Windows systems with Linux systems. You will implement the Linux variant that in your professional opinion best meets SIDGâ€s needs.Your final submission should contain at least 5 to 7 pages of text (not counting title page, images, diagrams, tables, or bibliography). It must be double-spaced, have 1-inch margins, and use 12-point Times New Roman or 10-point Arial/Helvetica font. A title page is required.
