The goal of this assignment is to present a brief proposal to stakeholders at your workplace to make a change in practice based on your root cause analysis and research of evidence based practice.

Guidelines for presentation

• Present your topic and any data/statistics that shows that there is an opportunity for improvement
• Provide a brief overview of the case study and the Root Cause Analysis. Be sure to include the fishbone diagram illustrating the contributing factors. (Again, no patient or staff identifiers please).
• Propose your Quality Improvement project. Include the evidence-based intervention/innovation/change in practice, a plan for implementation and the data that could be collected to track the QI project’s progress.
• The presentation should be approximately 10-15 minutes in length.
• Include references in APA format.
